Question: Oil Change
What grade or specification oil shoule I use when changing the oil?
Reply: Oil Change
Most manufactures will spec out a 10W-30 oil for use in their engines. Make sure you use a good quality oil also.
Hope this helps,
Question: Wont Start
I mowed lawn two weeks ago and had no problems.I then stored the mower in the garage, now it won't start.I checked the gas, less than 1/4 tank so I filled the tank. I checked the oil, level is full and my mower still won't start. I replaced the spark plug, old plug looked ok, took carburetor off and apart used air compressor to blow out all holes, removed fuel bowl, it was clean and then emptied the gas tank, looked clean so I got new gas and filled tank. And it still won't start.
Is there a safety switch or am I missing something?

I had the same problem. I still haven't solved the problem completely. I now can get the engine started, but can't seem to adjust the carburetor so that the throttle has the right amount of power. The two wires that run from the carburetor to an arm on the back of the mower with a spring on one of the wires and the other is a solid wire are not working at all. The mower would not start at all because the carburetor butterfly flap was completely closed, when I got it open it was running at full throttle, which was way to fast and causing the engine to heat up. I am not sure why there are two wires that seem to control two separate flaps. At this point I will have to take the mower to a professional because I can't find anything in the instruction books that came with the mower that tell me anything about this. What it basically amounted to was the engine was not getting any gas with the flap closed. Why the wires came off makes no sense, this mower is only one year old and always started on the first or second pull. Take the air filter off and see if the flap on the carburetor is closed.
Question: Replacement Carburator
I would like to know where i can find a replacement carburetor for Model 11A-542Q711 (2006/2007)

Get the Numbers off the engine muffler side under recoil housing Just tip it up and you can see them then come back to this web site and look up honda engines. It takes some thinking but it is not to bad.
