Why Repair?

By repairing your own household appliances and electronics, you are giving them a second chance and saving them from the landfill. You'll also reduce the amount of waste, power and gas it requires to manufacture and deliver new products.

Where’s My Skil Model Number?

Skil model numbers are located on the the Skil nameplate or identification sticker. You’ll usually find this sticker on the back, side, or bottom of the tool, and it should be pretty obvious.

Once you find this plate, you’ll need to search for the model number and possibly the type or engineering number of your unit.

Look for the model number at the top of the identification sticker, next to the SKIL logo. Have you found it? It should look like HD6635, 6643, or 1875. The format is typically just four numbers or two letters followed by four numbers, like the examples listed above.

You’ll find the engineering number on the nameplate, usually next to the model number or farther down on the label. The engineering number includes 10 digits and will often start with a letter. So if you found a number like F012183002 or 2610915610 you’re all set to start ordering parts.

Example model/serial number: Skil 1825 2610915610.

Much More Than the Skilsaw
If you’ve never owned a Skil router, electric drill, jigsaw, grinder, or any other Skil product, you’re missing out on a reliable piece of machinery. Skil invented the first motorized circular saw and, of course, their iconic Skilsaw. Skil continues to grow in popularity due to their products' value and durability.
