I had this 5250 Classic saw for about 11 years or so as well and it has never let me down. It's a great, simple, straight forward saw. I'm getting brushes for it. It is just such a nice machine I couldn't see buying something else. Mine came in an orange, well made box. I recommend this saw to everyone out there.

I have used this saw in my remodeling business for approximately 10 years, I have never had a saw last this long, usually brushes, switches go out after 2 or 3 years on others that I have used. I have told others about this wonderful little cheap saw compared to other big names. I am ordering brushes for it today for the very first time. On the handle is the name skil CLASSIC, how appropiate! Hope I am ordering the right set of brushes. The model is 5250-05 Classic. Paul link removed
