if you want lithium-ion battery packs for the cordless drill/drivers look around, there are brands that carry them. it is a shame that Skill (previously known for quality products) has not come out with them. maybe they will in future models

it would be great if they made the lithium-ion battery pack for this and other battery operated products. the ni-cad battery is limited life and you cant recharge until the battery is discharged completely. seems that if you store the battery pack with a full charge (as recommended) they die faster. technology has been improving on everything except the battery packs

This would rate great if the batteries would hold up. After one year of occasional use the batteries won't hold a charge. My prior SKIL products have been great but I got a lemon on this one and now I can't find new batteries!
