This drill was my biggest disappointment of a power tool that I have ever purchased. Being a homeowner user after a year the charger (#92990) would not charge and the light was not lit. I ordered a new charger and plugged in the battery only to have the light on the charger go out immediately. After taking the unit to a battery store they checked the charger and battery and said both were JUNK. I inquired on replacing the battery but the cost was close to purchasing a complete unit. I investigated on internet and found that Skil discontinued the charger which I have 2 that are not working. After contacting Skil they tell me they have had no trouble with the driil so there is no recall. I will not purchase another Skil tool.
