Left hand chuck retainer screw damaged by using double ended bits. Retainer screw head cut off and drill chuck came off in reverse direction use.
Difficult to disassemble but once chuck is off reassembly was easy
This is a low cost "Hyper Tough" sold by Walmart. Their tech people had no idea about the left hand thread retainer screw required to hold chuck on in reverse operation. However a Ryobi drill also uses the same size retainer screw. Easy fix. Could not throw away a drill for a 2 dollar part and a few minutes of my time.
Thanks for the fast response and low cost parts.

Center chuck assembly screw broke.
Easily ordered received and installed new screw after extracting what was left of the old screw. Expected to have to buy a new drill instead of locating the proper left hand screw, but was pleasantly surprised when I located it at eReplacementParts.com.

not inexpensive but much cheaper than a new drill - I'm satisfied - total success
Where else can you find this critical bassackwards screw to fit a popular Japanese Ryobi drill chuck? The part's price was fair. The shipping fee was ridiculous. But I received it in my mail box in a few days, and it did indeed fit my drill model as noted in the description. I can not complain about success.

faucet replacement part
The faucet had a flexible hose that needed to be replaced due to wear. The replacement part was received expeditiously and was a quick and easy replacement. Cost for the part was very reasonable and the exact match to the original. Thanks so much.

Left hand thread. Screw
I have a battery and a corded ryoby drill.
I replaced the chuck on battery drill, the left hand screw is not long enough, for the new. Chuck. It fit perfect in corded drill..
The new Chuck I bought has a key to tighten chuck. The old chuck was keyless.
I'm surprised ryoby dose NOT off a NEW LONGER left hand screw. Other wise? Drill works GREAT.
