To help you figure out where the fuel lines on your carburetor are connected, we have an article and video on How to Replace Fuel Lines on 2-Cycle Engines.

Hope this helps,

Cleaned carb. Fuel seems to be flowing ok. New plug. It seems no spark getting to plug. Any way to test before I purchase a $58.00 Module assembly. Thanks.

Hi Brett,

Unfortunately the manufacture no longer supplies the engine cover assembly for this model. You might try a search with that part number or contact some Ryobi authorized service centers around the county and have them check their stock.

Good luck,

MY RGBV3100 DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO BLOW SQUAT. I BOUGHT IT USED AND IT APPEARS TO BE IN PRETTY DECENT CONDITION. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

Hi Kevin,

The force that the blower has is controlled by two things. The size of the impeller and the speed of the engine. Keep in mind that this is a consumer type blower and will have about half the blowing power of a commercial unit. About the only thing you could try would be to tune the carburetor. I would suggest taking the blower to a small engine shop and have them adjust the carb because if you adjust the carb too lean you will seize the engine.

Good luck!

I have a Ryobi Blower & Vac. How do you remove the crankshaft extension in order to install a new pull rope?

Question: IMPELLER

How do I replace the impeller?
Fred
Reply: IMPELLER

Fred

Remove all of the Torx head head screws from the body. The deep recessed screws can be loosened by a normal slotted head screwdriver. Pull apart the body half opposite of pull rope. Access to the impeller is now possible. Replace the impeller and reinstall the body part and screws. It is a good idea to clean the inside of the body parts thoroughly before reassembly.

Question: Engine Idle Problems

My engine on my Ryobi rgbv3100 blower/vac will idle for a few and then shut right back down when you try to raise the rpm's what could be the cause of this and how can it be easily fixed?

Question: Rgbv3100

If the cylinder bolts are loose can I replace the gasket and tighten the bolts? Can I check the cylinder mounting for wear? should I replace the blower?
My mom had this blower for a long time and it sat in her gerage for prob 2 yrs. I went to start it and when I pulled the cord the crank got stuck. I played with it for a little while and get it to retract the cord any suggestions?
My Ryobi RGBV3100 won't start and I believe that it has something to do with fuel supply. I did replace the spark plug, no help. Plenty of fuel in tank, but primer bulb shows no fuel in bulb. I seem to remember seeing fuel in bulb when priming engine. I checked the lines and can see no problem. I checked the primer bulb but do not feel it is the problem as it blows freely into return line and won't inflate if the other line (that runs to the top of carb) is pinched off. When depressing the bulb, air does bubble up into tank.
Does this mean the fuel supply line is bad? Is there a way to tell without buying new one first?
I did replace the spark plug also.
Thanks for any advice,
Kyle
