Are you replacing the switch with the U4 Switch Kit (Includes Owners Manual) Part Number: 664106002? If so this will include a tech letter giving you the new wiring information.Hope that helps.Good luck.

Hello CHUCKKAPPA,

The 662329001 drive belts are connected to the motor shaft and blade arbor to turn the blade. If you are having problems with the raising/lowering & tilting of the blade you will need to look at the the diagram starting at the blade adjusting handle and looking at all of the parts behind it ending at part numbers 969122002, 969127001, & 969123001 to see if any are broken or missing.

It didn't come with a blade so I put a brand new 10" blade on it. When I start the saw up it causes vibration... what would cause this?

Bad factory blade? Could the arbor be bent?

How do I replace the belts on my bt3100-1 tablesaw?

Replacing the belt is a bit difficult. You have to take the front side of the blade cover off to expose the shaft that the belts sits on. Make sure to take pictures or tag your parts so you don't misplace them. You need 2 belts and sliding them is tight so don't apply too much pressure so you don't break them. Once your belts are on go ahead and put all the parts back together and your BT3100-1 should be good to go.

The switch on my BT3100 just quit working. I can plug and un-plug it to turn it on, but the switch does nothing when I toggle it. Can I just purchase a new switch and replace it??

Terry I found a loop hole in the switch.

When the plug is out turn the switch on... then plug the plug in. The router comes on. Then shut the switch off. That should make the switch work again

I have a RYOBI 10" TABLE SAW BT3100-1 wth 2 broken V-BELTS. I have ordered the two replacement belts and have received them. I can't tell where they go from the Operator's Manual. Where I thought they went, they don't fit. Can you send me a better detailed picture of where they go? Thank you for your help.

Hey eagleone,
the belts should go between the arbor pulley and the smaller motor pulley..im not sure if there is a tension adjustment on this saw but usually you can just feed the belt on..[carefully]...you can look at a more of a exploded view with zoom at link removed

received this saw as a christmas gift. never opened box until 2years later because i had a old craftsman saw. when i did put it togather i turned it on and proceeded to cut a peice of 1x lumber the blade stopped turning. i called roybi they said apparently the belds broke and that they probley dry rotted sorry your out of warrenty they cost 20.00 each it takes two. I NEVER EVEN GOT TO CUT 1 BOARD! if they rot by just sitting what good is it. very dissatisfied phil hayes
