Return line where it enters tanks shrank (diameter-wise) allowing gas to leak. Line that was in tank was also stiff.1) Is this shrinkage normal?2) Would it be less likely to occur if ethanol-free gas was used?3) How long should the line last before stiffening/shrinking?

After time the Fuel Return Line will become brittle, shrink and crack and will need to be replaced be replaced every 10-15 years or whenever any sign of damage is noted. You should be using ethanol free gas in your small engine outdoor power equipment. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call.
