Hello Mitch, thank you for writing. We believe that part you may be looking for is the Float 23753. If you are vacuuming up water, when the water hits the float it will automatically turn off the vacuum so water cannot get into the motor and for safety purposes. Good luck with your repair.

Thank you for your question. There is a 22 inch long extension wand that fits onto the hose, with a locking hinge to keep it connected. It fits all Ridgid hoses and attachments that have 1-7/8" diameter openings. The part number listed under your model number for the extension wand is 31728.
