Question: Hammer Drill Function
My R841150 drill does not have a date stamp on it! The hammer function stopped working. I bought with a combo set all of which are date stamped G0344. What part do I need to replace to regain the "hammering" function? Do I need the entire motor/clutch assy for "before G0343" or a single basic part for "after G0343"??

To save alot of trouble just replace Motor W/Gear Train & Clutch Ca Part Number: 210013029 .Hope that helps.Good luck.
Question: Rigid Hammer Drill Repair
What is the best way to take apart a Ridgid R841150 Hammer Drill. I have unscrewed all the screws that hold the drill together; however, it doesn't seem to come apart. It is still stuck together. Is there something I have to do before it will come apart? I think I have to replace the trigger.
Question: Variable Speed Went Out.
I've had my 18V Ridgid R841150 1/2 Cordless Hammer Drill for a few months and my variable speed burnt up. I was wondering where it's located. Is it the trigger? or part of the motor assembly?
How would I go about fixing it? If it's the motor assembly, where would it be located?
Please let me know, asap.
Reply: Variable Speed Went Out.
The variable speed is controlled by the switch. Replacing it should solve the problem. The switch is part #270001400.
I hope this helps!
