Review: Ridgid - R82008 Problems

I traded the first in for another, believing there was a defect. This new one does the same thing: on a fully charged battery sometimes, it only works for a few minutes then stops! No amount of playing with the buttons or slides helps. The chuck remains locked. The literature explained that if you put the speed slide in between 1 and 2 the chuck would turn and the gears could be aligned, however this isn't the case. Please help! I love the drill; how do I resolve this? Anyone? link removed
