Discussion for the Ridgid OL50135W Oil Lubricated Air Compressor
My pressure fills only to about 70-75, although the pump remains on. When I shut sw, off, the preasure drops down to around 25. Could this be the Pressure sw. or the regulator?
There should not be any air coming from the regulator, if there is it is probably time to replace it. There is one part on the compressor that when it gets to the desired pressure you will hear air coming out of and that is the safety valve 17378 I hope this will help.

when I pull the switch to on position compressor only low hums. ran fine up until a week ago when it sounded as if it was a lawn mower sputtering then finally shut down. any help??
I have a Ridgid OL- 50135w. My compressor fills up with air just fine. When I plug in the hose it drains the Pressure Gage down to 0. Then the pressure comes back up. Then when I connect tool and run it the pressure goes back down to 0 and comes back up again. Does anyone know what this can be?
