since the plate throat (826886) for my saw is obsolete, where can I get one?

Hello apm,

By looking at the 826886 throat plate it may be a little difficult to make your own. I would try to keep searching on line to see if any one has one. The manufacture sold thousands of that saw.

I bought this from you on 12.4.11. I have been putting it off replacing it on my miter saw. I was wondering if you have any diagrams or instructions on how to take off the old guard and replace it. I am having issues with detaching the old guard of the the base swivel, it looks like its in with a pin but i dont want to hit it with a hammer and punch if that is not how you take it apart. thanks link removed
