Not as easy as it should have been.
One of the supplied parts was ok, but the second one was not. Thee were electrical connections, and both were made a bit different than my part. It required taking some parts I already had to get the job done. I did get the sander working, but it took longer than necessary because the parts were not exactly the same.

Removed top of orbital sander. Unplugged old cord. Soldiered new blades onto new cord. Plugged in new cord in sander. Replaced the top. Plugged in to test

Bad cord

Parts Used
Buy generic cord and 2 connectors (receptacle) they come 1 each per pack. Remove top off sander and remove old cord. Use old cord as template for trimming wire length. Place old strain relief on cord. Strip quarter inch of wire and finesse receptacle wrap around wire trying to get as close as possible to how the old cord looked and give it a hard crimp. There’s a small tab that made a little easier to hold, break off and toss.
