This Genuine OEM rebuild kit is designed for Bostitch Pneumatic Nailers. It fixes common problems associated with worn out seals including misfires, air leaks and sluggish performance. This performance kit contains all the necessary parts to return your Bostitch tool to like-new performance. Includes Head Valve Components, Gaskets and O-Rings.

Replacing these items you would need a set of Screwdrivers and Pliers.

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Power Drill, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, Adjustable Wrench

    Disassemble the gun and take pictures when you do this. Lay out all of the parts you remove and match them with the parts in the rebuild kit and install the new parts. Grease and oil the inside. Unscrew the broken end cap , then screw in the new one. Soak the handle grip in hot water and stretch it on to the handle. It will still be a tight fit. Insert the screw into the exhaust cover and screw it in. Place the new labels on the gun where they belong.

    1. Went online to find directions on disassembly.
    2. Disassembled the nailer and laid out parts in order on a paper towel.
    3. Cleaned all parts with an aerosol brake cleaner and compressed air.
    4. Replaced all seals and O-rings using silicone lubricant.
    5. Replaced the trigger air valve.
    5. Reassembled the nailer.

    Works better than before the trigger valve died.

    Remove the four screws from the cylinder cap and remove the cap, remove the cylinder.
    Match up the new parts with the old parts and install the new ones. Oil the inside. Replace the cylinder and the cap.

    Took top cover off of gun and cleaned gasket. Used screwdriver to push piston out of cylinder and cleaned. Replaced rubber seals,o-rings and gaskets oiled as I reassembled. Crossed my fingers as I connected the air Rebuild kit worked perfect. Gun is as good as new.

    Remove pin holding trigger in. Remove top head you'll see what to change, next take bottom off look and match the o-rings, put it all back together check everything, if ok tighten bolts.

    Air bypassing seals in gun and bad trigger valve

    Took the gun apart cleaned all the parts as it came apart and replaced o rings and trigger valve. Reassembled and voila.
