The plastic cover had separated
Repair was simple. I removed the old cover only three screws hold it in place. Put the o-ring over the plastic stud type structure in the plastic cover. Installed new cover with the three new screws included in the packaging with the cover. Really simple. I found this weed eater at the dump and for less than $10 I have a weed eater... Now for sale.

Trimmer rear cover had hole melted in it.
Removed rear cover. Ordered new part. Part came as expected and once I placed new rear cover on trimmer it started right up no problem!

Definitely use caution removing trimmer fuel tank as not to spill.

  • Worked but burned hole
Rear cover assembly helps seal up cylinder for compression, OE part burned hole thru where cylinder is located. Replaced with this one and only used it for not even an hour and it burned through again.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that happened, we will be in touch soon to help fix this issue.
    Not good
This part only lasted 10 minutes before it broke and the plastic melted. I'm a disabled mechanic and my weed trimmer broke, a hole burned in the plastic that went inside the combustion chamber. I took the part off checked everything out and all that was wrong was a hole letting the motor from building compression and not starting. So I ordered a new part, it did the same thing. It should not be made of plastic it can't withstand heat. If they made it out of metal it would work. I spent money for nothing what a RIP off.
