Tilt the lawn mower - based on the side manufacturer recommends
Use a flat head screw driver to pry out the existing axel on both sides of mower base
Remove the wheels and put them on the new drive shaft (keep them loose)
Push the new shaft in until it locks in place
Tighten the bolts on both wheels and place wheel cap back
