Question: Poulan Trigger
is this piece of crap sold in Metal?! The plastic stretches. Meaning I might as well buy a dozen at a time.
Reply: Poulan Trigger
Unfortunately the manufacture only provides the 530049107 trigger made of plastic. It would be great if the made it out of metal or a better grade of plastic.

Reply: Carb Replacement
I'm with you on that. If you pull up the parts diagram on the Poulan P1500. That's the part number that the manufacture is saying to use.
Hope this helps,
Question: Will Not Stay Running
My Poulan 1500 starts and idles on full choke, but acts like it is flooding out when I change to 1/2 choke or run. The gas is good. I also tried to use Sea Foam and Carb out with no improvement.

It sounds to me like there is dirt or debris in your carb. Another possibility is that over time the diaphragm in the carb will become hard and brittle. You will need to replace or clean the carburetor. The new carb is part #WT-924-1. If you want to try cleaning your carburetor we have an article and video that I think you will find helpful.
