Need to replace the 2 tubes that insert into the gas tank. One appears larger than the other. What parts or kits do I need .?

Hello 1162193,

The fuel line you will want to replace are part numbers 530069216 and 530069247. And while you are at it you migth as well replace the 530095646 fuel filter.

Question: Ignition Adjustment?

Both of my BVM200VS blowers have died. Won't even attempt to start. Spark tester shows an Orange glow rather than bright light. Even starter fluid won't get a cough out of them with new gapped plugs. Bought both at the same time. One died a year ago. 2nd one this spring. Already disassembled and cleaned the carbs per video. Ideas? Thanks!

You might check the gap between the flywheel and ignition module. It should be .014

Thank-you! I cleaned out the carburetor, disassembled the whole thing to clean out the gunk, varnish, and carbon. Reassembled and set the magneto clearance. Started hard the first time. 3 pulls each time since, like new. Good for another 2 years at least. Lesson-learned about using cheap 2-cycle oil. This poor little thing was loaded up with so much carbon that the piston rings were completely caked in place. All the best!

The part number 545128201 is the switch cover. If you want the switch and cover you will need to order Craftsman part number 545081830. For some reason Poulan no longer supplies this part.

Ignition modules really don't have a history of going bad that often. But they will. That's why we offer them to you. It sounds like it is time to replace yours.

I would like to suck up maple tree gumballs. My Poulan BVM200VS impeller doesn't appreciate them and started to eat the blades up. Do they make a metal impeller or some type of by-pass bag to drop the gumballs before they hit the impeller?

Hi Rich,

In addition to the piston and ring you would also need to replace the cylinder. The piston and ring are sold in a kit that also includes the connecting rod. The piston kit is part #545081864 and the cylinder is part #545115301.
Both parts are available from eReplacementParts.com.

Question: Fuel Tube Replacement

I have a blower (BVM200VS) and I'm trying to replace the fuel tube that has collapsed on it. How do you get the new fuel tube to thread through the hole in the fuel tank without damaging the tube or altering the hole?

I just replaced mine and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I just forced it into the hole and carefully pulled it thru with a pair of long nose pliers. Hope this helps.

lasted 4 months of home use---yes the proper oil gas mixture was correct--has compression but will not crank-new plug installed to no avail. worst blower I have owned. the cheap homelite blowers last much longer!
