When the manufacture stopped supplying the 530035123 Inlet fitting, they did not come out with a replacement for it. You might look on the carburetor for a manufacture on the carburetor to see if you can get the part that way. Other then that keep searching on line hopefully there might be a company out there that might have one. Also you can contact a Poulan service center in your area and ask them if they have an alternative parts that they use.

I'am in need for an ignition module for my 3800 Poulan chain saw. Cannot locate one any where, they have been dis-continued. Any old saws out there?? Either a 3800 or a 4000 Part # 530039093

I would guess that the saw has a hole in the incoming fuel line near the fuel filter or that the fuel filter is stuck in the tank. When the saw is tilted on its side a hole in the line would be more likely to be exposed to the air in the tank. If the fuel filter is stuck it may not be sitting in fuel when the saw is tilted.

i have two holes in top of tank one is fuel and i do not know what gose in the outer hole?

The two holes are both for fuel lines. One is the filtered delivery line and the other is the purge return line.

believe the second hole is for a duckbill valve lets air into tank when fuel is used

I need to know how the vent line attaches

i had a similar problem with my 3400cv, turned out the fuel was leaking out of the vent hole so i drained the fuel out and took what was left of the vent i pushed it out and it broke into tiny pieces. ended up getting sum good strong tape. and taped it off. still runs no difference. u dont always need the vent.
