Question: Porter Cable Ns150a - Drive Won'...

I have a porter cable narrow crown stapler (ns150a) in very good condition. recently the driver is stuck in the full down position. I've just finished rebuilding it with the recommended kit. It is still not retracting after firing the 1st time. oil is not an issue. My compressor is at 120 psi.

Anyone have a clue as to a fix?

Hey clouth,
Pneumatics can be tricky sometimes..you can try resetting the cycle by plugging in the air with the trigger pulled..[no staples and pressing the safety against some wood] the other two main operating components of this tool are the hd valve piston..# 894731 and the trigger valve assy # 895212..
also you may just have to disassemble to make sure everything is still ok in there and there is no pinched o-rings..make sure the head valve piston moves up and down freely inside the top cap [with some resistance]:)
