Unfortunately the manufacture has discontinued the 876524 housing and cover. And did not come out with a replacement part for it.
Question: Porter Cable Switch
What is a replacement part number for the TRIAC in switch assembly 873498?

Unfortunately when the switch was available the manufacture did not at the time supply the Traic as separate item. You might try hunting for the complete switch assembly.
Question: Smoking PC Hammer Drill
I worked this drill way too hard on way too long an extension cord. Opening and cleaning the armature and commutator? haven't stopped the smokin from happening. I thought I might be able to find a used replacement on ebay or amazon but there isn't one to be found anywhere. That includes new. Why is Porter Cable no longer making these great drills?
So I guess my question is what parts am I likely to need to rebuild this drill?

You are probally goin to need to replace the armature and field assemblys along with putting the proper gauge cord back on. Also a new set of brushes are recommended anytime the armature is replaced.
