Will the 842606 toggle switch listed above fit on my 6902 type 2 router? The nasty dust proof switch it came with died today. I have never liked that type of switch anyway.

I have an old Porter-Cable 6902 router which has served me well. It started running very warm along with intermittant vibration so I took it apart thinking the bearings were bad. Not so. I diid a resistance check on the commutator and the readings across all segments was lest than an ohm. All segments to each other read less than an ohm. I don't think this is normal. Can I assume the armature is bad? Thanks.

I am wondering if the fan can be replaced on a 690 router. Something fell down into it and bye-bye went the plastice blades in a hurry. I wonder if the collet chuck threads or pressed of so that the armature can be pull, and a new fan installed?
