Question: Maybe The Trigger?

The gun will make a short small noise when pulling the trigger but nothing mechanical moves. A new battery is installed.

Does anyone know if they make an upgraded cartridge assembly? We use ours for windshield adhesive, and because it is rather thick stuff, we have broken several ends of the cartridge holder. A metal one would be perfect.

Hey Dusty---I too use Milwaukee 6560-20's for High Viscosity Essex U-418HV and have never experienced anything breaking as you describe. Is it possible the breakage is caused other ways, dropping etc?

I couldn't live without one of these!

Look for Albion tools model number DL-45 T20E--it might solve your problems. Albion, Milwaukee and Cox all seem to be the same motor unit--perhaps the cartridge and bulk pack parts are interchangeable?

How do I test the PC board and the switch. My caulk gun, when you depress the trigger, does not feed the rod forward but once the trigger is released the auto reverse backs it up.

How do I test the pc board or switch to tell witch one need to be replaced? The battery is good but it won't run the motor. Test to find power going in switch but not out with trigger pulled only short burst when trigger first pulled at motor.
