How do I tell if the trigger switch is bad?
George
For model number 6176-20
- August 31, 2022
Hello George, Thank you for writing. At times it will require several pulls of the trigger before the tool starts up. The gradual wear of power switches can sometimes cause a decrease in power that reaches the tool's motor. Wearing and damaged switches will cause increased off-and-on use as they are used until they eventually don't start up at all. Take a look at the switch assembly and check for damage. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
