This is a 12 volt Ni-Cd stick style Makita battery. This battery pack is a genuine Makita accessory, not generic or aftermarket. It was a common battery in many late-model cordless tools, containing more cells and providing more power than the widely used 9.6 volt 9000 Makita battery. Unlike generic imitation batteries, this genuine Makita battery includes a six month warranty.

This battery is compatible with the tools listed below, and any other Makita cordless tool using the 12 volt 1210 stick style battery. It is not guaranteed to fit any other power tools.
