Sent back from a job foreman. Said it was not tightening bolts like it should. Seems to be doing fine at the shop. Could it be a bad brush? They look good to my eyes.

Even if the brushes look fine you still might have problems with the motor. You will have to disassemble the tool to inspect the armature and field assemblyto see if the windings are burnt. When electric impact wrenches are used they are under constant load. Though they are manufactured for heavy use, it is inevitable that the motor will get hot and sometimes deteriorate the windings.
