what is shell alvania no. 3 equivalent

Hello Duke,

If you have a local oil distributor in your area give then the following specs on the grease, the should be able to provide you with another brand if you can't get Shell.

Base Oil - Mineral
Thickener - Lithium
Minimum Temp. - -20
Max temp - 135

Question: Head Removal

I have purchased a heavy duty head by Grass Gator and would like to replace the factory head. I can not figure how to get the head off. Most of the tools I have used in the past have a way to lock the head from twisting so it can be unscrewed. I feel ignorant but, just can't figure it out. Please help.

We have two of them and like most over 10 year. Both have taken a lot of abuse. To this day it starts with no more than 5 pulls. The only maintenance the unit has had I am just now doing. Caps and tanks, etc. I would purchase another one if I could, very pleased!

I have had this trimmer for about 10 years. It has been subjected to regular use and has required almost no service. So far I have replaced the gas cap (cracked), the fuel tank (fell out of my truck), and the primer pump (cracked). I also replace the spark plug annually. The unit is very easy to work on, fires right up, and gets the job done. It is light and powerful. I highly recommend.
