Help me Find My Makita Model Number
You should have no trouble spotting your Makita model number. On their power tools, check near the motor air vents. On their lawn equipment, you should look near the recoil housing or on the engine housing. You’ll find your table saw model number on the saw’s base and miter saws on the motor.
The model number will usually appear just to the right of the logo on the identification tag. And because the manufacturer doesn’t use type numbers, you won’t have to worry about figuring out whether you have a Type 1 or Type 2, etc. Therefore, when you search for parts on our site, all you’ll need is the manufacturers model number. Isn’t that convenient? ![]()

This is my first opportunity to let you know I received my field coil and garters for my Makita 5007 circular saw, put it all back together immediately, and ZOOOOM! My saw is running better than it has in years. You people are the BOMB.

Do it Right
Makita has been making power tools for over 90 years. They put their motors alone through 19 different quality checks before allowing them into a tool. They put the same emphasis on attention to detail into their tools that you do your projects, and that’s why you rely on them to get the job done--every time. The company makes their tools on four continents: South America, Europe, Asia, and North America, where they have factories in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
