How does the back bearing behind the motor come off?

Hi Robert, Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to remove/install the rear bearing, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V139qGMglQg. The drill in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. We hope this helps with the repair!

My sander quit working. At first I could turn the disk by hand and it would start. When that no longer worked, I found I could make it work by banging on it HARD. I can see white sparks through the vent slots in the back of the housing when it's running. Can you please tell me what it needs to make it work properly? Thanks
