1. Watched a video on-line on how to remove old blade and replace new one
2. Turned mower on its side
3. Used wrench to remove old blade and replace new one
4. Held crank shaft with needle nose pliers to keep it from turning while replacing and tightening the plates and nut

Socket set, Impact wrench

I removed the blade nut, then the blade retainer, spacer, then the old blade. I placed the new blade on the spindle, then put on the spacer, blade retainer. Then tightened the blade nut.
