Parts Used
1.Removed the top cover with the four screws.Then removed the on/off switch and the speed control selector.
2. Pulled the speed control out with needle nose pliers and cut the four connectors.
3. I then installed the insulator under the motor screw. I ordered an insulator with the speed control but it was not needed one was included with the Speed control.
4. I soldered in the four connections to the speed control, used wire nuts to cover the joints.
5. Replaced the speed control working the board into the two slots at the bottom, and tucked the wires back into the channels where they belong.
6. Replaced the on/off switch and the speed control selector. top cover and replaced the four screws.
This was a quick easy repair.
