2. I then removed the AAA battery from the base/igniter.
3. To remove the base/igniter from the flat panel, I pressed the 2 clips positioned
at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions inward, and pulled the base/igniter down
freeing it from the panel.
4. The BLACK and WHITE wires were gently pulled from the base/igniter.
5. Those wires were reconnected to the NEW base/igniter.
6. The NEW base/igniter was then gently inserted through the same hole until the clips
snapped it in - securing it in position.
7. A new AAA battery was inserted into the base/igniter.
8. The button was then placed over the battery and gently turned clockwise to secure.
9. The gas grill was turned on at the various knobs, and the igniter button was gently
pressed with ignition being successful.
10. Total time spent, 5 minutes and no tools were necessary.

2. Removed button, pushed in detent to drop out ignition module, removed the leads.
3. Connect the leads to the new module.
4. Tricky! (but clearly diagramed in the instructions). Position the new module in the correct position (with heat shield towards burners; canted to the side so one detent goes in first), push in until detents click in
5. install battery and button.
You don't need to separately buy the button -- one is included in the kit.
