Question: Clutch & Removal Tool

ned2012

Is part # 502541603 the correct tool for my 455 Rancher chainsaw model # 4HVXS.0565AA? Do I need to remove the clutch first to determine the correct clutch drum part # 5372917-02 or 5372916-02?

Question: Husqvarna Rancher 455

Do you have the tool for resetting the knee joint after replacing the spring. The chain break band is compressed and the clutch cover will not go back on.

I had the same problem w/ installation. I could not get the spring to compress AND fit the joint into the clutch cover. The first one broke while installation. Instead of breaking a second piece I took it to a small engine repair shop. It took two men about 30 min to install it. I saved big money by purchasing it from ereplacement parts because the shop was going to charge me double the price offered by ereplacments. But they had the manpower and compression tool.
