is there not a clutch assembly from a different model that is still available, with the same thread pattern to screw on crankshaft and possibly use my drum or the whole ass. Maybe 372xp with the clips?

I am sure there IS a clutch out there that is compatible with your model. Most all of them on 2 stroke engines have the same thread pattern and will screw onto the crankshaft. Crank diameter being an issue here. Do some diligent research on other models, even models by other manufacturers and you should come up with a compatible clutch .
