I am in the process of installing a pulley-camshaft on my power washer . Is there a timing issue that I need to be alerted about , or does it matter what possition that I put it at ?

Hardly used item and was using it as it died. It will not start now and black oily suet puffying out of the air breather on the carb.
Has spark and gas is getting to the plug.

I'm guessing timing belt? Thanks

ENGINE WILL START BUT WILL NOT RUN

My presure washer is a Honda GC160, It is a fixed throttle, It runs fine, But when i pull the trigger on nozzle the rpms in engine doesnt go up, I can moved the arm governor by hand presure gets strong and rpms go up can anyone help me Thanks for your time

I have a Honda GC 160 5HP engine on a Sears tiller. It starts up on the first pull but will only run for about 1-2 mineuts then quits. It will sometimes back fire and the RPM will surge. I have replaced the fuel & air filter and have also cleaned the spark plug. Any suggestions?

I'm having problems with my pressure washer.The honda will start and run for a bout 2mins. then the block fills up with gas and quiets.

The engine stops when choke is open. What causes this?

I have a 27 ton Troy-Bilt log splitter with a 160cc Honda OHV/OHC Engine. It will only start and run if the choke is engaged (flap closed). If I push the rod to disengage the choke (flap partially open), it begins to pop through the exhaust and run roughly. If I push the rod all the way (flap open), then it will cut off and will not restart unless the choke is engaged again. Any help would be appreciated.
