It is an authentic Porter Cable part which is designed for use with nailers and staplers. This is the special component which provides an air-tight seal for the head valve. Unfortunately, over time the material may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement to ensure your tool functions correctly. One durable rubber head valve seal is included. Make sure to check the appropriate diagram of your model for the correct installation of the new component. You will need a screwdriver to remove and reattach the top cap when replacing this seal.

Very easy to identify needed parts
With the exploded schematic and part numbers associated with each part ,made it simple to order and install parts I needed. Took about 1/2 hour to replace and get nailer working again. Shipping time was good.

O-ring torn in two pieces

I removed the top cap of the nail gun. And noticed the worn parts. I then removed the old parts and clean the inside of the gun thoroughly. Then easily replaced the new parts. Oil the o-ring before placing on head valve piston
