I have an Echo PB 755T backpack blower. The unit runs great for about 1.5hrs then stalls out. If I let it cool 10 minutes, prime it, it starts up and runs for about 30minutes before shutting off again. I replaced strainer, fuel vent and spark plug with BPM 8y, but still have same issue. I noticed the spark plug is very white in color. Any ideas what may be the cause.

Question: Leaf Blower Repair

I have a Echo 755T Leaf Blower it worked great until today. Runs fine at idle but when I rev it it seems to starve for fuel. Do I try a new fuel strainer first?

I had a similar issue. Suggest you do 3 things. 1. Replace fuel strainer. 2. Replace fuel vent. 3. Check to ensure plastic air flow regulator (installed where air tube from air filter connects to carb) is installed correctly. Good luck hope this helps

Question: Ignition Coil Setting

hydroross

Can you tell me the procedure for setting the ignition coil gap on a eb633rt blower.

Hi hydroross,

The proper gap for the EB633 blower is .020" or 0.5mm. To set the gap you will need a plastic or paper spacer that is the proper thickness. Most hobby shops carry sheet styrene in various thicknesses. You could easily cut a spacer out of a piece of styrene.

Install the coil but leave the mounting screws loose. Turn the flywheel so that the magnets on the flywheel line up with the coil. Insert the spacer between the coil and the magnets. Now tighten up the screws and you are good to go!

I hope this helps,
