Question: Auto Oil
My auto oiler was not working at end of season. I have cleaned the channels and holes the oil flows thru. Is there anything further I should do? Since I have it apart, is there a way to check auto oil operation other than running. The manual push button oiler works okay.
Reply: Auto Oil
The first thing you might try is taking off the air inlet filter item number 11 on the breakdown, part number 43620514730. Run your chainsaw and check to see if the oil is flowing, if it is replace the filter. If that is not the problem most likely it will be your auto oiler assembly item number 4 on the breakdown, part number43700237530. Since internal parts are not available for the pump you will need to purchase the complete assembly.
Hope this helps,
