I am trying to repair an Echo chainsaw model CS-310 that is not getting any oil to the bar and chain. I have determined that the worm gear is broken but think there may be a problem with the auto oiler because the small gear above the auto oiler will not turn. However, I cannot figure out how to get the auto oiler out because it is in an enclosed plastic casing that does not seem to come link removed you help with how to remove this part?

Question: Oil Delivery To Bar And Chain

richard c.

I was cutting a stump to the ground and noticed I accidentally submerged the blade in the dirt now the chain saw heats up and there is no oil going to the bar. I did a general thorough cleaning with carburetor cleaner when I removed the cover/bar/chain but there still is no oil lubrication to the bar and chain?
