The original bag wore out. If you replace the old part save the metal elbow because P-C makes a vac hose 39332 that mates to the elbow and your shop vac. Using the drywall vacuum bag gets your shop dust free when sanding. And I highly recommend EReplacementParts.

With screwdriver. Removed the old brush caps and removed the old brushes. Installed the new brushes and brush caps. Installed the new dust bag.

Remove 2 screws from belt cover and slide old belt off of drive gears then slide new belt on and replace belt cover.
Remove old dust bag by pulling out metal tube from sander and replace with new tube and bag

Took cover off motor housing. Cleaned sanding dust and replaced drive belt. Put cover back on. Installed the new bag assembly.
