Question: FLEXNECK DISASSEMBLY

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN SCREW HEADS USED IN ASSEMBLY? ONE IS PHILLIPS, THE OTHER IS UNIQUE TORX WITH A PIN IN THE CENTER. REGULAR TORX DOES NOT WORK, SO WHERE DO I GET THE TOOL?

You can grind that pin out then use the trox driver. It's a bummer.

Is it possible to buy the whole head and replace it on the DW919? One of my sons was using it and he said it fell over about six inches and the head broke in several pieces?

This is a great light. I got it as part of combo kit. It is light, but heavy duty. The best use that I have found for it is when I am outside working on my car. The snake neck is great because it helps you point the light anywhere you want to. Also, the 18V battery last surprisingly long on a single charge. Because the battery is fairly large, the flashlight will stand upright easily.
