I need to find the replacement part(s) for the blade lower guard assembly kit. I saw a video where there was an upgrade assembly. What is the part number for the replacement kit. Thanks
Mark For model number DW708 - October 5, 2022

Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. We are sorry, we looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. We hope this helps!

Kerf Plate 395672-00 is this what the blade will pass through after it cuts a board
Charles For model number DW708 - October 26, 2023

Hi Charles, Thank you for your question. Kerf plates (also called kerf boards) are used to prevent excessive splintering, resulting in cleaner cuts. Using a worn or broken kerf board in your tool can result in a rough edge to the material you?re cutting. 2 are needed to complete the set. It is plastic and has 3 screw holes to secure it to your saw. We hope this helps!
