Questions & Answers for DeWALT DW505 TYPE 3

How can I remove the drill chuck? The chuck is stuck open. The center screw has been removed. I tried the hex key and hammer method. It is still stuck on the spindle. I propped the drill upright and filled the chuck with PB Blaster. I'll let it sit for a day or so. Is the clutch (item #52) pressed on? I think if I can get the clutch off then I can remove #49 and #48 then slide the spindle out, correct.
