Question: 220v To 110 Use
I have a DW318-44 Jig Saw and it is a 220 volt unit. Can I change out the plug and use it as a 110 volt unit without having to change anything else?

Unfortunately the entire motor would need to be changed out. I am not sure if there are any 115V parts available that would match the rest of the parts on the saw. (housings, bearings, gears , etc. I would suspect that any sort of conversion would be more costly than a new saw.
