Hi Ruby, Thank you for your question. If the air compressor builds pressure, but cuts off, there are a couple of reasons why this could happen. If the oil level is too low or if you are not using the correct type of oil, the compressor will shut off. Also, if the compressor is not properly ventilated, or if the ambient temperature is too high, the compressor will shut off. We hope this helps!
