Question: Soap In The Pump?
I took my Excell -2600 in for what I believed was a simple repair - replacement of a quick disconnect with rusty bearings. I was informed that somehow soap had gotten into the pump and dried, rendering it inoperable. The shop has offered to show it to me, but said most likely I would have to replace the pump at which point, I might as well junk it and get a new one. They are as mystified as I am. The machine has only been used half-dozen times, twice by contractors.
My pump is an XR2600 It will not unload pressure when the gun trigger is released . I ordered a new unloader valve from your company and replaced it . It seemed to work for a few minutes but will not unload again . Will the check valve #39 in behind the injector fitting have any thing to do with this problem?
The pressure washer stalls when calling for pressure. I contacted support but nothing suggested worked.
The unloader is the most common issue with these pumps.
How do you fix it?
If you looking to replace the A03928SV unloader kit. It is item number 30 on the parts diagram. This is one of the easier unloaders to replace. You will just need to unthread it from the housing (making sure not to get any debris in it once you have it out), Then replace it with the new one. It may look a little different from the original unloader you have in your pump. At one time the manufacture updated it. But rest assured it will work just fine.
