It a rather easy project to replace the knives in your jointer, if you have the right tools.
Delta makes a knife setting tool part number 37-157 which makes it very simple to do.
You loosen the knife screws on the cutter-head, remove the old knife, insert the new knife in the cutter-head, place the setting tool on the outfeed table and over the cutter-head with the new knife in it, tighten up the cutter-head screws and your done.
The setting tool uses magnets to hold onto the table and bring the knives up to the correct height.
I have a Delta JT360 joiner that everytime i turn it off as the motor is winding down the safety switch on my plug in kicks off. Would like to know what's up. thanks. I have a new building and the joiner is new.
I don't know what a safety switch on a plug is. Do you mean that you have a GFI receptacle that shuts the current off as the table saw is winding down?

yes,That's what i have and none of my other tools makes this happen. I have a Delta Table saw, drill press, radial arm saw.
This tool has done more to improve the quality of my projects then anything else I have purchased. The knives are relatively easy to adjust. Overall I have to rate this tool excellent. I did add a set of wheels on a hinged board on one end to make it moveable. On the in-feed end, as picking it up from the out-feed end probably puts less stress on the tool. I will probably get around to adding another set when I have time. The tool is not built or sold as portable, so you really can't this against it. Kinda pricey, but worth it.
