Question: Wobble In Delta 10 Radial Arm Sa...
I've squared the blade to both the fence and table. However, the blade moves back and forth (heels to left>then heels to right). My dial-indicator shows it to be .015" difference around the circumference of a 10" blade. I tried 3 blades: 2 Freuds and a Forrest Chopmaster, all thick sturdy blades.) I don't think it's a bent shaft as I see no up & down blade movement, only side to side. And I'd figure the blade would move up and down if the shaft were bent. With that I'm wondering what to do. I'm even thinking about honing the face of the arbor where the arbor washer presses against it & doing the same to the arbor washer since the problem is worse with the washer in place.
Question: Radial Arm Saw Retractor
Is a spring loaded retractor available for a Delta model 33-890 Radial Arm Saw? The retractor would return the saw motor/head back near the column automatically once your hand was removed from the feed handle. This is apparently an OSHA requirement.
Reply: Radial Arm Saw Retractor
Delta does offer a spring retractor for the Radial Arm Saws. It is part #33-723. You can find more information at the following link...
